Yukiwari-sou Apartments & Share House

Yukiwari-sou is an apartment and share house located in a quiet residential area on the north side of Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, just south of Shinshu University. With a charming retro Showa-era feel, it offers some of the most affordable accommodation in Matsumoto — but there are a few important conditions to be aware of:

• Rooms are completely private and available for male residents only.
• No bond, key money, or renewal fees are required.
• Equipped with essential household appliances and air conditioning.
• The kitchen, toilet, and shower room are shared facilities.

In addition to students, we welcome international students and working professionals.

What is a Share House?

A share house is a residence where tenants have their own private rooms, but share common spaces such as the kitchen, toilet, and shower room. This style of housing is well-known overseas as a way for residents to enjoy social connection while maintaining personal privacy.

At Yukiwari-sou, there is no seniority or hierarchy among residents, and privacy is fully respected. Our goal is to offer a respectful living environment where everyone values each other's space and lifestyle.
